ACCOMPLISHMENTS
ACADEMIC: GPA 4.042; National Honor Society

ATHLETIC: Main event is the 100 yard breaststroke. NCHSAA 3A Regionals, Junior year; All-Conference, Junior year. Captain of swim team, Senior year; 4th year swimming for Southeast. Swim year round.

CLUBS/EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITES: Member of the French Club, Health Occupation Students of America, and Young Life; President of the southeast Junior Civitans Club; Volunteer on a regular basis.

COLLEGE HOPES/PLANS: I plan on attending UNC-G in the fall to study Nursing. I will continue swimming during college.

COACH'S THOUGHTS: “Karmen is a hard worker. She always comes to practice ready to work hard and learn. She is willing to help out when ever I need her. Karmen is a great asset to our team.” Coach – Valerie Williams

WHEN NOBODY'S WATCHING: I enjoy going to the movies and shopping with friends.

PRE-GAME PREPARATION:I try not to worry too much about the race, because I know I have done it so many times that I know what I am doing. I normally cheer for my teammates so I don’t get too nervous.
