ACADEMIC: ACADEMIC: GPA 4.7; National Honor Society; Little 4 Bill Lee Scholorship Award; Principal’s Leadership Award Nominee ATHLETIC: Metro 4-A All -Conference Soccer Team ('06); All-Region Soccer Team ('06); Sweeper for G'boro Twisters; 5 times N.C. State Soccer Champions; Varsity Basketball Captain. CLUBS/EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITES: Young Life Senior Leader; YMCA Volunteer Basketball Coach. COLLEGE HOPES/PLANS: “I plan on attending UNC-Chapel Hill with a possible major in Exercise/Sport Science.” COACH'S THOUGHTS: “Leigh is always one of the hardest workers on the field. She is one of the players who you can’t take off the field because she is a backbone to this team and a strong leader by example. She is a pleasure to coach!” Coach – Jennifer Kennedy WHEN NOBODY'S WATCHING: “Hang out with my friends, play Dance, Dance Revolution and Scrapbooking.” PRE-GAME PREPARATION: “I have a lucky routine that I do before I leave the house., I listen to Jack Jams to get pumped up. Once I get to the field, we get the defense together to focus on the game and discuss strategy. Then I do lucky handshakes with my teammates before kickoff.” |
