Recycling
The News
& Record recycles as much as possible, especially any waste from
our manufacturing processes. Our recycling agreement with Bowater is
part of our continued commitment to recycle wherever we have the opportunity.
We capture newsprint waste, aluminum printing plate waste, and ink that
is left in the ink trays, all for recycling. We also recycle office
paper, drink cans, cardboard, and anything else that we can. We have worked on
our internal processes to substitute non-hazardous materials and change
processes to eliminate waste.
We hope
you have enjoyed learning more about how the News & Record is made!
